We spend about 47% of our waking hours daydreaming.

(I read this somewhere online and I’ve never asked anyone else if it’s true for them... but it is definitely true for me.)

beauty in the everyday

Woolgather (v) to indulge in aimless thoughts or daydreams.

When I discovered this word, I immediately felt like it represented the dreamer in me. For me, it’s about more than just indulging in daydreams—it’s being intentional about creating them.

I’m Sarah

I really love making things beautiful. I am so easily captivated by beautiful things. Hiking, walking, or even shopping with me is met with several mini-stops to “ooh” and “ahh” at everything around me.

Naturally, that feeds into what I create. I’m drawn to the way materials come together, the texture of paper, the small details that make something feel thoughtful. I love the quiet process of working with my hands and watching something simple become meaningful.

Beauty isn’t superficial. And beauty isn’t a luxury. Taking in beauty allows us to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the intention and process it takes to create something that evokes feeling.

If your heart is in the details, pretty things call out to you (to the point where you can’t walk past Anthropologie without running inside), and you love, love, love stationery, we have a couple things in common.
